Shacket Like A Polaroid Picture

"Shacket"

noun ;

an outer garment that looks like a shirt but is a bit weightier that it's really a jacket

As a resident of Manchester it is a truth universally acknowledged that the climate here is not the best.  In fact we always seem to be in that perpetual cross seasonal bonkers weather mode where temperates fluctuate more than Teresa May and her u-turns.  That's why I have a whole post dedicated to the Shacket.  A classic khaki piece - this particular one is from Topshop.

As functional as it is, it deserves its kudos for being stylistically versatile.  I have worn this to work with smart culottes, and I have worn this jeans.  I have a sneaky suspicion this will look great with a midi skirt too.

I'm not saying you should all go out and buy one (unless like me, you also love it) but as a busy woman I have zero time to think about a work wardrobe, a casual wardrobe and any other wardrobe for that matter.
